As elections are round the corner and stacks are high for all the three parties - BJP, Congress & AAP. PM Modi termed AAP Government (Incumbent) as AAP-DA (Disaster) Government.

Elections rallies and campaigning have raised the temperatures in Delhi. There are several factors & reasons why PM Modi directed a direct attack on the current government in Delhi.

Below are the points mentioned:

• Liquor Policy Scam - Current AAP government & its several high profile leaders are facing lots of corruption charges in the liquor policy scam including its national convenor & former chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal who is also out on bail in the same case.
• Uncleaned & very polluted Yamuna river: Mr. Kejriwal had asked the people of Delhi in 2014 for giving him 5 years period so that he will turn Yamuna clean & beautiful river so that it would become a tourist spot and people will enjoy nearby. But he has failed to accomplish that & he promised same things before elections in 2019 that again give him 5 more years and he would be able to turn the fate of the Yamuna river but today in 2024 also the Yamuna river’s pollution is still the same and nothing has changed from then. For which PM Modi called AAP as Disaster Government i.e. AAP-DA.
• Issue of illegal Rohingya immigrants: In Delhi there is a big issue of illegal migrants from Myanmar & Bangladesh which threatens the security & safety of the people in the same. But on this issue Mr. Kejriwal is silent as these people turns into fake voters and vote for him in elections.
• Opportunistic Party & Leader: AAP has come to power in Delhi in 2014 by accusing Congress of great corruption in State & the country & Mr. Kejriwal who is self proclaimed honest man in politics has sweared on his children that he would never go along with BJP & Congress ever in his lifetime. But he sided with congress in past & present breaking all promises & swears that he made to the people of Delhi 10 years ago.
• Sheeshmahal Row: The party which was started or say established on the name of common man & the person who has the backing of common man in 2014 has turned not common and built a Sheeshmahal for himself breaking again the promises he did with the people of Delhi. As per CAG report Kejriwal has spent three times upto 33cr, the money allotted for CM house. Certainly his words and actions are not coherent & are way away from the reality as he is not a common man anymore.
• Fresh water supply issue: In Delhi, he has also promised people of Delhi in past elections that he would bring water from tap to each & house hold but failed to keep this promise too.

As per above mentioned points, conclusion is AAP government has been failed on each & every promises it made in the past 10 years to the people of Delhi.

Hence, PM Modi while launching the BJP’s campaign for the Delhi elections termed AAP as AAP-DA.
