Exclusive Footage: IDF Operation Targets Iranian-funded Underground Missile program in Syria months before the fall of the Assad Regime

Recently, IDF has declassified a crucial information regarding undercover operation conducted by them on 8th September 2024 to dismantle the underground missile production project funded & backed by Iran in Syria.
IDF has declassified the details and posted on X stating,
“In September 2024, before the fall of the Assad Regime, our soldiers conducted an undercover operation to dismantle an Iranian-funded underground precision missile production site in Syria.

The facility, codenamed “Deep Layer,” was built into a mountain near Masyaf, over 200 km from Israel. It was used to produce precision missiles for Hezbollah and the Assad regime.
Carried out by the Shaldag unit and Unit 669, the 2.5-hour operation was a success, with no injuries reported.
Earlier in December 2024, after decades long Syrian civil war historic fall of Assad’s regime happened & control is now with rebels group and following which Assad had fled to Moscow with the help of Russia.
